Today we pause, reflect, and recommit to mental health for all.
At Miss Collegiate USA, mental wellness is more than a topic—it’s a core part of our mission.

Through our EMPowered program, we host an annual Mental Health Wellness Workshop, offer free webinars, training sessions, and even a mental health activity book to help college students and young women build practices of self-care, resilience, and emotional awareness.
Our EMPowered Ambassadors (from the 2024–2025 cohort) lead community initiatives, peer support activities, and outreach efforts—serving as role models to spark conversations and break down stigma around mental health.

As we mark World Mental Health Day, we celebrate:
The strength in vulnerability,
The power of shared stories,
And the impact of organizations that integrate wellness into their leadership.
